Just so you're aware my total hours in both games is around 1,200 just like you. I'd much prefer they keep doing what they're doing which is focusing on expanding the map, updating the engine when needed, fixing the old stuff that's outdated and just being among the best devs out there. And we wonder where the term "entitled gamers" comes from? And yet you're acting like it's still not enough. A company that adds things on a regular basis FREE of charge (more trucks, reworking of older areas). This is a company that has updated the engine, went so far as a to do a complete rescale of the map size in ATS just to please the fans. I was playing last night without mods thinking how gorgeous this game is. The game looks much better now than it did years ago.
Selling the DLC is how they fund making the new DLC. They've updated the engine significantly over the years. Right now is currently the best time ever to be fans of these games as they've each never been better. Over 1,200 hours between both games and never thought "these games are near end of life status".
