When Izzy's mom went into Izzy's room, Davis and Kari are shown holding each other in a kind of dancing embrace. When Davis finds out that Patamon digivolves to Angemon and Gatomon digivolves to Angewomon he becomes jealous and asks Veemon if Veemon can digivolve to something with "Ange" in its name.
When the Digimon Emperor says that he is "the only perfect human", Davis answers with: "Oh yeah, blowhard? What do you think of Kari?"
